Roberta made the perfection of English as one of her objectives, along with the study of maritime management. She started to travel extensively during the winter seasons and she took courses of Business English & Business Management in Australia, England and USA.
She is currently studying to be a qualified ship agent. The merger of Smeralda Food Yacht Service and International Yacht Service into Y.S.A. Ltd, Yacht Service Association, at the end of December 2009 is an achievement that Roberta and Vito are very proud of.
Vito manages the food and beverage department and is always happy to offer advice on the best fish of the season and to give some tips on how to bring out the taste of it with the accompanying wine. To date, Smeralda Food Yacht Service is the only yacht food supplier in Sardinia providing finest food and gourmet delicacies along with vintage wines from around the world, champagnes, spirits and liqueurs.
The company caters for any dietary requirement, as well as for special diets and religious and cultural dietary choices: certified products including halal and kosher meats, Kobe meats, organic produce and gluten–free products are included in the products lists. As far as the exclusive luxury assistance is concerned, Roberta coordinates the services to yachts and the PR department and is available 24/7 for any last minute request.
